Local plumbers for Totterdown and the surrounding streets. Open 24 hours, with free quotes over the phone.
Who we are
Totterdown Plumbing is a local plumbing service covering Totterdown and a 10-mile radius around it. We handle the everyday plumbing problems that come up in Bristol homes: leaks, blocked drains, toilets and taps, pipework, appliance connections and radiators.
We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, because plumbing problems rarely wait until morning.
How we work
- Free quotes over the phone. Tell us what is happening and we will explain what we think the job involves.
- No surprises. Nothing goes ahead until you have agreed to it.
- Straight answers. If something is not our job, such as a boiler, a gas appliance or a fault inside a washing machine, we will tell you who to call instead.
- Repair before replace. If a part can be fixed, we will say so.
What we do not do
We do not work on gas appliances. For boilers, gas fires and gas cookers, use a Gas Safe registered engineer. We do not do electrical work either. Where a job needs an electrician, such as an electric shower, we do the plumbing side only.
Knowing Totterdown
Most homes here are Victorian terraces on steep streets. Their plumbing has usually been changed many times over the years, with bathrooms added, kitchens extended and heating plumbed in later. That shapes how we approach jobs here, from tracing leaks through old pipework to working out who is responsible for a shared drain.
